The Ella Odyssey Train Schedule

The Ella Odyssey train goes to Badulla from Colombo on Thursday and Saturday and comes back to Colombo from Badulla on Friday and Sunday. The Train leaves the Colombo Fort Railway station at 5.30 am every Thursday and Saturday and reaches Badulla at 3.55 pm. On its return journey, leaves Badulla station at 9.50 am every Friday and Sunday and is scheduled to reach Colombo Fort railway station at 7.20 pm.

Horsetail fall known as the Lakshapana Ella – The magnificent 129 m tall horsetail fall is one of the top 10 waterfalls of Sri Lanka concerning height.
Kithal Ella Waterfall – Cascading down from a height of 23 meters, flowing past the gaps within rocks, this small but picturesque waterfall.
Elgin Falls – The 25m-high Elgin falls shares its name with a Scottish city and a tea estate.
